Federal Govt Approves Upgrade Of Second Niger Bridge

Vice President Namadi Sambo on Wednesday 6th August while receiving a delegation of elders from Delta and Edo states at the Presidential Villa, Abuja said that the Federal Government had approved the upgrade of work on the second Niger Bridge.

According to him,the upgrade of work was approved by the government to facilitate an improvement of the economy of the people of the two states and the South-South region in general. “The Federal Government is also planning to provide railways in all these areas for more effective transportation system,” Sambo added.

He also said that the work was scheduled to commence in 2015. I.e,Next year.
