It seems like the saying that Boko Haram is operating with more sophisticated weapons than Nigerian soldiers is true going by latest developments in the
weak battle against the terrorist group.
As you read this, a top military source has confirmed that the dreaded
Boko Haram
Islamist sect have killed about 14 top soldiers and 10 police officers, including the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of a police station in the troubled Yobe State during their latest attack on Buni Yadi on Monday night.
After
Boko Haram
killed the security officers, they went into communities around the mountains of
Gwoza Town
in
Borno State
, killing villagers and setting ablaze houses and churches in the area. In fact,
Boko Haram
have hoisted their Flag in the town as a sign of victory...
Borno
and
Yobe State
are the ‘hub’ of
Boko Haram
activities where they are noted for being seen and moving about openly, even in broad daylight. Sometimes soldiers run on sighting them, according to sources.
The insurgents, according to the military source, attacked a military facility at Buni Yadi on Monday evening, and without provocation, had opened fire on them. Eye witnesses say it was a heavy exchange of gunfire that went into the dead of the night, and this lasted for atleast three hours.
Boko Haram
flags have been hoisted in
Ashigashiya
in
Gwoza
and the terrorists are celebrating in the area.

The killers have now declared
Gwoza
a town inside
Nigeria
as their headquarters!
