President Goodluck Jonathan will on Tuesday (today) 22nd july meet the parents of the girls abducted from Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State on April 14.
It has been announced that President Goodluck Jonathan will meet with the parents of the girls at the Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja.
A meeting was previously scheduled last week Tuesday but the parents decided not to attend. They reportedly returned to Borno the morning of the meeting. None of them showed up despite Jonathan waiting to meet them.
If the scheduled meeting goes as planned, this will be the first time Jonathan will have a direct contact with the parents. The commander-in-chief is yet to visit Chibok since the abduction.Those expected at the meeting are some of the girls who escaped from their abductors.
